According to Google's Top Charts of 2014 for India, Sunny Leone has topped the list of the Most Searched people in Google India, with the Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi second most searched personality, and Bollywood star Salman Khan is at third spot. Despite the fact Sunny Leone is topping the charts of most searched people, but strangely, Leone does not find a place is most searched female actors in Bollywood.

"Modi is one of the top most searched personalities this year, even ahead of Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, making him the first politician to gain more popularity than film celebrities on the web," Google India said in a statement on this Tuesday. So it was no surprise that the term Elections 2014 topped Google India’s trending lists this year.

If we look at the search trends of year 2014, we can see the search terms like IRCTC, Flipkart, SBI Online, Snapdeal and PNR Status are the top search terms. That clearly shows that people of India are still not used to type direct website addresses and they are searching these terms on Google.
