PK Total Box Office Collection after 1st Weekend

Aamir Khan's PK (Peekay) has started a little slow pace in the morning shows of 1st day at box office, but after the end of the day the movie has a very good opening. Although PK has got a good opening on day one, but it failed to break the opening day collection records of "Happy New Year" amounting ₹44 crore and "Dhoom 3" amounting ₹36 crore. After the first 2 days, PK witnessed a decent growth on Sunday shows as the film has got a positive response from the viewers and they are promoting it via word of mouth. The long winter holidays are coming so it is likely to boost the total box office collection of PK. Aamir Khan's PK has collected total ₹26.63 crore on the opening day at the domestic Box Office. Despite failing to break the opening day record of "Dhoom 3" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year", PK has got an excellent start on day one at Box office. PK 1st day Box Office total Collection is fourth highest of 2014 after "Happy New Year", "Singham Returns" and "Bang Bang".

PK Second (2nd) Day Box Office Total Collection:

PeeKay (PK) has shown a great growth of almost 15% on day 2 and collected total ₹30.34 crore on its first Saturday. Thus it has earned ₹56.97 crore in just two days.

PK Third (3rd) Day Box Office Total Collection:

Considering the advanced booking on Sunday, the film has shown a tremendous growth on day 3 the first Sunday, 21 December. The film has taken a big jump on Sunday and collected ₹38.24 crore on 3rd day. The film collected 95.21 crores on its first weekend.

PK Fourth (4rth) Day Box Office Total Collection:

PK has now also entered the Top 10 movies of 2014 list just after the first 3 days. Now on the 4rth day it has crossed the magical number of 100 crores and now PK is just ahead of the “Jai Ho” and “Holiday”. It is expected that on day 4 film will collect almost ₹30 crore on domestic Box Office.

PK total Box Office Collection after 1st weekend is ₹95.21 crore and it has collected almost ₹160 crore including the worldwide earnings.

PK has been released on almost 5500 screens worldwide, including the 600 screens overseas. Aamir Khan is playing the role of an alien in the movie PK, directed by RajKumar Hirani. Film critics are saying this is the best performance done by Aamir Khan in this film. The film features Aamir, Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput in other supporting roles.
