1. Save Battery Life by Turning Off Power Draining Apps

If your battery dies too quickly, it might be because of those background apps which are highly data consuming apps.  For saving your battery just goto Settings>>Apps>>then swipe to the “running” tab. Here you’ll find those apps that are using the most processing and battery power. Now tap the app and then tap the “quit” button. Now you’ll find small increment in your battery life.

2. Maintain it like a PC to improve performance

There a lot of more to do with Android OS in comparison with iOS. There are several apps that can assist you in this, like All-In-One Toolbox. Even without that app though, you can do stuff like deleting old, unused apps, removing widgets you don’t use, and ending unnecessary processes on your own.

3. Disable Animations

To make your Android device run a bit smoother: disable its animations. Just goto Developer Options which can be found under Settings or About device. Under enabled Developer options> Window animation scale>Transition animation scale>Animator duration scale. Then, turn them off (disable) them one at a time.

For some phones, you may need to go to Build number and tap on it repeatedly until you see “You are now a developer!”.

4. How To Turn Off Auto-Correction

Sometimes it’s very irritating, when we use typing and it autocorrects in some words in the unwanted manner. You can turn off that easily.

  1. Go to Settings > Language & input.

  2. Tap on the settings icon next to the keyboard that you are using, e.g. Google Keyboard.

  3. Look for Auto-correction and tap on it.

  4. Select Off to turn auto-correction off.
