The New India Assurance Company has recently notified recruitment for the post of Office Assistant in Class-III Cadre. The company has almost 1536 vacancies for the Office Assistant post. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 10 November 2014. The New India Assurance Company office assistant exam will be held on January 2015 and selection process will be on the basis of Online Examination, interview and computer proficiency test. This is not a state specific recruitment, so candidates from all India can go for it. Educational Qualifications
Graduate from a recognised University or Pass in HSC/ Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities) and Regional Language Knowledge of the State is required.
Age Limit
- Candidate’s age should be between 18-30 years as on 30 June 2014.
- The age relaxation will be given according to the Government Rules.
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST – 5 years
- OBC (Non creamy layer) – 3 years
- PWD- 10 years
- Widows, women who are separated from their husbands legally (not remarried) , divorced women – 5 Years.
- Defence service personnel disabled -3 years.
- Persons ordinarily reside in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period 1.1.1980 to 31-12-1989 – 5 years.
- Existing employees in the new India assurance – 5 years.

Application Fees
- General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs.500/- through online only.
- SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-SER/ Female candidates have to pay Rs.50/- through online only.
