Tevar Review and 1st Day Box Office Collection

Tevar is a remake of the Telugu hit Okkadu (2003), which was a decade old film. So Tevar is just an old wine served in a new botle. Tevar directed by Amit Sharma, star cast includes Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee. The music of the movie is composed by Sajid-Wajid and Imraan Khan. The score is very good, as the songs of this movie has gained so much popularity. "Mai to Superman Salman ka fan" song is on the lips of everyone. Now if you are excited about the movie and planing to go out this weekend to watch it, then you must read out our Tevar review. If you typical Bollywood masala movies like love, romance, action, attitude, dance and comedy, then this is the film for you. :)

Review of Tevar:

Tevar is an outdated masala movie which is again a mindless south remake. Out of this first impression the movie is not a bad film at all, its a good entertainer and can be watched one time. There is a bit of expected humour, which is served throughout in the film while the love battle between Manoj and Arjun continues. Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee and Raj Babbar are real treat to watch throughout the movie. In my view the movie is bit too long, an overstretched climax sequence and a second half that drags so much long, so it could have been at least 15 minutes short. Except all this ups and downs there is a nice item song, Shruti Haasan swings by for an item song and looks scorching hot. The film is enjoyable in parts and the rest it does not quite manage to keep you hooked to it. For me, the film had nothing extraordinary other than Manjoj Bajpai’s class acting. Here, Arjun Kapoor sings about being a Salman fan, which poses the box office critical question: we know people go to see Bhai, but will they go to see, Bhatija?

After a very long gap of Aamir Khan's PK, its a fresh and no-brainer entertainment which is a one time watch movie.

Tevar Movie 1st Day Box Office Collection:

Now if we talk about the total box office collection of the movie Tevar, then it was a decent 1st day collection. Tevar is expected to collect ₹8+ Crore on Opening Day, which is a good start for an average movie. As we know Aamir Khan starer PK has collected more than ₹320 Crores till now and after PK, almost 20 days later a movie like Tevar is expected to give a fresh entertainment to the audience, but it isn't looking to rule the box office like PK. According to trade analysts "PK" has enjoyed its three weeks run and now "Tevar" will dominate the market. Despite this, Tevar has failed to grab good occupancy on the opening day and managed to earn almost 8 Crores on first day. The film opened to mixed reviews from critics, but audiences have called it a masala entertainer. So, the occupancy might increase during the evening and night shows.

I have presented all the diggings about the Tevar review and 1st box office collection. All in all it is a good entertainer, so share with us your experience of watching Tevar.
